David Moyes will be without striker Michail Antonio when West Ham host Manchester United on Saturday after the striker developed another hamstring injury.

The blow will force Moyes into recalling Sebastien Haller to once again lead the line for the London Stadium affair, having trusted the Ivory Coast international whilst previously without Antonio following the strain sustained at home to Manchester City in October.

Antonio has developed a fresh issue that Moyes does not believe was connected with his original gripe, but is unsure on the extent of the new problem.

“Michail is not going to be available for the game,” Moyes confirmed. “We’re not sure how long he’ll be [out]. Hopefully it’s not too bad, but he won’t be available for Saturday’s game.

“He’s still having a bit of a problem with his hamstring. It’s not the same injury. We think it’s something slightly different, which is the good news, so we’re hoping that he won’t be too long.”

Moyes has rarely made changes to his favoured starting line-up this season outside of enforced instances, but must consider rotating his XI for the visit of Manchester United.

So, with that in mind, here’s a line-up the Hammers boss could name against his former employer…

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has featured between the sticks for all 10 of the Irons opening Premier League fixtures this season, as one of seven players boasting a 100 per cent starting record alongside Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna, Declan Rice, Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Tomas Soucek.

Arthur Masuaku came into the line-up following Cresswell’s move to centre-half on matchday two, seeing Mr West Ham Mark Noble miss out on a role, while summer signing Vladimir Coufal replaced Ryan Fredericks following his £5.4million arrival.

Each may expect to start alongside Haller on Saturday as West Ham look to move third in the table with a win – albeit momentarily – with the Irons only losing once in their last eight top-flight fixtures and conceding more than once only to title-holders Liverpool since allowing three at Tottenham.

However, Moyes must consider making one additional change to his line-up by replacing Fornals, who struggled vastly at home to Aston Villa on Monday night.

Moyes has previously lavished praise on Fornals for his development since the Scottish coach’s return to east London, but continually urges the Spaniard to deliver more.

“I think he’s done a great job,” Moyes said, via quotes by football.london. “As you can see, we select him regularly, we select him because of his commitment, his attitude, his reliability and he’s grown on us a lot.

“There’s things we would like him to improve. We want him to make better final passes, we want him to score more, but I can think he’s become a really important part [of the team].”

Monday’s display was one matching Moyes’ concerns rather than praise, with Fornals failing to register a single shot on goal, deliver a key ball, completed just 68% of his passes, fail in his only attempted dribble and all four attempted tackles, while offering just one cross, per WhoScored.

Brentford loanee Said Benrahma entered the action for Masuaku at the break and will have felt he had done enough to warrant a start this weekend, as the Algerian offered one shot, one key ball, completed 80% of his passes, was successful with his only attempted dribble and was never dribbled past.

Moyes starting Benrahma against Manchester United on Saturday would mark the Algerian’s first inclusion in an opening line-up since moving to the London Stadium on a season-long loan featuring a £20m obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.

No desembarque, membros da delegação do Timão reclamaram de que sentiram muito frio durante a viagem. Helder Costa has chance to shine

With the France international out of action and captain Seamus Coleman also sidelined with a reported thigh injury, Everton have major concerns regarding their defence. Summer signing Ben Godfrey started against Fulham last time out, but Ancelotti will be wary of the threat posed by Patrick Bamford.

If he wants to revert to a four at the back, his options are very slim. He could choose to deploy out of favour Jonjoe Kenny, who is naturally a right-back, or hand a huge opportunity to 20-year-old Niels Nkounkou.

Whichever option he chooses, the Toffees’ left-hand side of their defence is going to be hugely weakened. This is the perfect chance for Helder Costa to lace up his shooting boots and really cause a problem for the Merseysiders.

The £10million-rated winger joined Leeds permanently this summer after enjoying a loan spell last season from Wolves. Many were torn over whether the club should bring the Portugal international to Elland Road full-time. The Talking Shutt podcast hosts discussed whether Costa would be a good signing last year and said that he would be “worth taking a gamble on”.

The winger has already contributed to four Leeds goals in eight Premier League appearances. He is behind only Bamford and could have a big chance to extend his tally against Everton later today.

وأوضحت أن مسؤولي مانشستر يونايتد حريصون على التعاقد مع مدرب بريطاني، إذا لم يكن أمامهم خيار سوى إقالة سولشاير من منصبه.

وأشارت إلى أن إدارة مانشستر يونايتد تعتقد أن بريندان رودجرز سيكون حريصًا على تولي مسؤولية تدريب الفريق، بشرط التوصل إلى اتفاق مع ليستر سيتي.

وأفادت أن بريندان رودجرز سيكون مترددًا في مغادرة ليستر سيتي، لكنه يعلم أن هناك القليل الذي يمكنه تحقيقه بشكل واقعي هناك، وسيجد إنه يكاد يكون من المستحيل رفض عرض تدريب مانشستر يونايتد.

Um dos presidentes do América-MG, Marco Antônio Batista questionou, em entrevista nesta terça-feira ao “Estado de Minas”, a ausência do clube na lista divulgada pelo banco estatal:

-O América já havia sido avisado da aprovação, pois apresentou todos os requisitos necessários. Fui a Brasília com todas as informações, todos os compromissos bem detalhados e ouvi do pessoal que cuida dessa área na Caixa Econômica Federal que tudo estava certo. O conselho de administração tinha grande expectativa quanto ao fechamento, e só não oficializou porque realmente faltava a chamada assinatura. Fizemos tudo que tinha para ser feito e recebemos, de maneira muito negativa, essa situação.

O dirigente revelou que aguarda novo posicionamento da Caixa, e disse que “erro de 2015 não pode se repetir”:

-Queremos acreditar que haverá uma segunda publicação dos acordos e que a Caixa não cometerá o mesmo erro do ano passado. Em 2015 foi prometido da mesma forma e não foi feito. Este ano nós fomos convidados por eles e apresentamos a proposta. Junto de nós, o Santa Cruz e outros dois clubes também deixaram tudo encaminhado. E eu tenho certeza que o presidente do Santa Cruz (Alírio Moraes) está tão surpreso quanto nós aqui no América.

Aston Villa are back in Premier League action once again as they welcome Burnley to the Midlands this evening.

Dean Smith’s side will be looking to build on not just their 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Wolves at the weekend but their impressive turnaround in the English top-flight too.

They’ve gone from narrowly avoiding relegation to top-half underdogs, in which they caused the shock of the season when defeating defending champions Liverpool 7-2.

Villa have even picked up wins against Leicester City and Arsenal too.

The Clarets, on the other hand, are languishing at the wrong end of the table and they’ll be fighting for their lives tonight, so Smith will need to ensure his side is well-equipped for this one.

After coming off the bench to score the match-winning penalty at Molineux, Anwar El Ghazi is surely in line for a start, meaning Bertrand Traore faces the axe – and indeed he should be taken out of the starting XI.

The 25-year-old summer signing was particularly lightweight and poor against Wolves – per SofaScore, Traore won just 62.5% of his duels, lost possession 17 times, was dribbled past twice, and managed just one accurate cross from five attempts.

BirminghamLive were particularly scathing, grading his performance a four out of ten. They said:

“Started poorly and was loose in possession and was Villa’s worse player in the opening 45 as he struggled to settle down on just his second Premier League start since his £17 million switch.

“Came in for Trezeguet today but lacked quality on the ball. Endured a torrid time of it at Molineux and looks a real stranger. He’ll be hoping for much better days, that’s for sure. Didn’t do enough to start against Burnley on Thursday but we’ll wait and see on that. Taken off with 15 to go.”

Upon arrival, Smith hailed the former Lyon and Chelsea winger an “immense talent” whilst ex-teammate Papy Djilobodji once claimed he is “very hard to stop.”

However, we’re yet to see anything of the sort from the £18m-rated winger, who earns just over £60k-per-week at Villa Park, having delivered just one assist in eight Premier League appearances.

وواصل: “اللجنة التنفيذية سترحل مع اللجنة المكلفة بإدارة النادي، سنسلم الزمالك للجهة الإدارية وهي صاحبة التصرف في كل شيء”.

وتابع: “توجد توجهات حاليًا في نادي الزمالك، وعلى المستوى الشخصي لا يهمني إلا أن يكون النادي مستقرًا، وكل شيء سيظهر غدًا أو بعد غد”.

وأردف: “أنصح أعضاء الجمعية العمومية بانتخاب مجلس محترم متفاهم لا يدخل في أي صدام، هذه هي الخطوة الأولى، اختيار المجلس الصحيح، وبعد ذلك لن يحتاجوا لنصائح لأن الأمور واضحة وسيعرفون كيف يديرون من خلال التقارير التي كتبناها”.

واختتم جبريل: “تركنا ملايين في خزينة النادي، ولكن الأزمة هي الديون التي على الزمالك، هناك تراكمات كبيرة جدًا من الديون في النادي تحتاج لمجلس محترم”.

كشفت تقارير صحفية فرنسية آخر تطورات مستقبل مدرب فريق باريس سان جيرمان ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو، وسط ارتباطه بتدريب نادي مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي.

وكان مانشستر يونايتد قد أعلن أمس الاستغناء عن خدمات أولي جونار سولشاير لسوء النتائج، وكان آخرها الهزيمة يوم السبت الماضي أمام واتفورد بأربعة أهداف مقابل هدف في الدوري الإنجليزي.

وارتبط أكثر من مدرب بخلافة سولشاير في مانشستر يونايتد، ومن ضمنهم ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو، زين الدين زيدان، بريندان رودجرز، وإريك تين هاج.

وذكرت تقارير صحفية إنجليزية أن بوتشيتينو يسعى إلى مغادرة باريس سان جيرمان وتدريب مانشستر يونايتد من الآن، بسبب عدم سعادته في فرنسا.

ولكن شبكة “rmcsport” الفرنسية أفادت اليوم أن بوتشيتينو لم يتواصل مع إدارة باريس سان جيرمان بشأن مستقبله، ولم يطلب من المسؤولين الرحيل مع العلم أن عقده ساري حتى عام 2023.

وأوضحت أن مانشستر يونايتد كذلك لم يتوصل مع باريس سان جيرمان لبحث مدى إمكانية الحصول على خدمات بوتشيتينو.

وأشارت إلى أن مسؤولي باريس سان جيرمان لم يتواصلوا في الوقت نفسه مع زين الدين زيدان، الذي ارتبط مؤخرًا بإمكانية خلافة بوتشيتينو في حديقة الأمراء حال رحيل الأرجنتيني.

وذكرت أن بوتشيتينو يشعر أنه ليس مضطرًا للرد على التكهنات المنتشرة بشان مستقبله لأنه لم يتسبب بها، ومن ثم لا تستحق إنكارها.

DeAndre Yedlin was Steve Bruce’s true hero against Fulham on Saturday as the Newcastle United defender earned his first start of the Premier League season.

Bruce introduced a raft of changes to the Magpies’ line-up from the side that was humiliated at Leeds United during the week, with Jamal Lewis, Jacob Murphy, Jeff Hendrick, Isaac Hayden and Ryan Fraser all dropping out.

The alterations failed to do the trick in the most part, with Newcastle relying on a 64th-minute penalty from Callum Wilson to salvage a point at home to Scott Parker’s relegation-threatened Fulham, who played the final half-hour of the St. James’ Park affair with 10-men.

Wilson’s defeat-preventing goal, his eighth strike of the season and first in December, was not enough to see the £20million summer arrival from AFC Bournemouth end the game as Bruce’s hero, though, having seen Yedlin claim that honour.

Bruce has been opposed to fielding Yedlin for much of the season with the United States international omitted from nine of his side’s 12 Premier League matchday plans before facing Fulham, when he earned his first start of the campaign outside of the Carabao Cup.

Yedlin looked rusty having played only four minutes in the top-flight this term, yet the £30,000-per-week speedster, who could be sold in January to avoid him leaving for free next summer, offered plenty of positives to emerge as Bruce’s true hero.

The £4.5m-rated full-back consistently made himself available and called for the ball to show Bruce and Newcastle what he’s still capable of, while standing up defensively with three clearances and three interceptions, per SofaScore.

Yedlin’s final ball often let him down on Saturday with only one of his five crosses finding a teammate in the box, but that failed to dent his confidence as the 27-year-old continued to push forward and saw his efforts return one key ball and 60 touches.

He additionally connected with three of five long balls, 33 of his total 41 passes, won his sole aerial battle and contended three ground duels.

Yedlin was not at his best by any means given his limited game time this season, but his relentless work and willingness to challenge would have left Bruce with plenty to mull over ahead of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup quarter-final trip to Brentford.
