أعلن الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف”، عن تشكيل القرن الـ21، لـ أفضل 11 لاعبًا بمسابقة كأس الأمم الإفريقية، وفقًا لتصويت الجماهير.

وشهد التشكيل سيطرة من جانب نجوم منتخب مصر، بتواجد ستة لاعبين على رأسهم نجم الأهلي السابق محمد أبو تريكة، ومحمد صلاح جناح ليفربول.

ويضم التشكيل أيضًا، حارس المرمى عصام الحضري، ووائل جمعة، وأحمد فتحي، وسيد معوض.

أعلن ديديه ديشامب المدير الفني لـ منتخب فرنسا عن قائمة الديوك لتوقف أكتوبر ومباراة نصف نهائي دوري الأمم الأوروبية أمام بلجيكا.

منتخب فرنسا تأهل لنصف نهائي دوري الأمم الأوروبية وسيواجه بلجيكا يوم 7 أكتوبر المقبل، في نصف نهائي مكرر من نصف نهائي مونديال 2018.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a shock move for Arsenal star Ainsley Maitland-Niles, reports say. 

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is planning to rebuild his midfield and Maitland-Niles is among a number of Gunners players expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.

According to The Sun, as cited by The Mirror (via Ricky Sacks), the 22-year-old has attracted attention from every Premier League club in London, apart from Chelsea.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is impressed by his ability to play in a number of different positions, amid interest from Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham.

The Arsenal academy graduate started as Arteta’s side beat Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Despite his young age, the former England U21 international has already made a hundred appearances for the Gunners, and played 20 Premier League games last term, supplying two assists, making 2.4 tackles per game, averaging 1.4 interceptions, and completing 1.6 clearances on average (via WhoScored).

He is highly rated by Arteta but seems destined to depart from his boyhood club in the summer.

Arsenal are demanding £30m for Maitland-Niles, but they may have to settle for less, given the current circumstances.

Whether the Gunners will want to sell the talented youngster to their arch-rivals remains to be seen, as it could fuel resentment from a fanbase who are still furious with the decision to make 55 redundancies while offering former Chelsea player Willian a contract worth £250,000-a-week.

With that being said, it could be a masterstroke from Daniel Levy if he manages to sign Maitland-Niles, as the versatile player could turn out to be a shrewd signing in the future.

وتابع: “عندما لعبنا في سيدني (أستراليا) قبل ثلاث أو أربع سنوات بعد الموسم، لم يكن لدينا الفريق الكامل لذلك قمنا بدعوة ستيف ماكمانمان، دانيال آجر وجيمي كاراجر وستيفن جيرارد للعب معنا”.

وأضاف: “بصراحة، كنت أعرف ليفربول ورأيته كثيرًا يلعب، بالطبع، هما فئة عمرية كبيرة قليلًا لكنهم كانوا جميعًا جيدين بالفعل خلال المباراة”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “لكن ستيفي، يا له من لاعب كان قد اتخذ وقتها قرار الاعتزال للتو، ولكن ربما كان مدربًا للشباب في ليفربول، لكن كوني مدربًا وجيرارد قائدًا على أرض الملعب كان أمرًا لطيفًا، لذا سأختاره”.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Graham Smyth, Swansea City centre-back Ben Cabango is thought to be on the list of potential targets this summer.

It’s claimed that the Whites are yet to make a firm approach for the 20-year-old, but he is someone their Spanish director of football admires greatly.

Although the Welshman has recently signed a contract extension through to 2023, so Cabango is not likely to come cheap.

Imposing presence

Cabango has just been called up to Ryan Giggs’ Wales squad for their fixtures in the Nations League and it’s no surprise to see that as well as learning of Orta’s interest given his form this term.

Per WhoScored, the 6 foot 2 colossus averaged 5.4 clearances, 1.2 interceptions and one tackle per game as well as winning 3 aerial duels and notching a passing success rate above 80%.

Only United skipper Liam Cooper won more in the air during their Championship-winning campaign.

However, little magician Pablo Hernandez managed to get the better of Cabango in the last meeting between the two sides. The veteran scored the winner back in July and recorded three successful dribbles, two shots and one key pass despite only playing the second half only, per SofaScore.

But that shouldn’t sway Leeds from making a move as the powerhouse has managed to maintain his place in the starting XI following his debut back in November.

Swans boss Steve Cooper lauded him after the match, saying: “He played really well with and without the ball, and he had a good round of applause from the lads in the dressing room.”

Cooper, Robin Koch and Cabango isn’t a bad trio to have at your disposal, especially after the blows to both Ben White and Gaetano Berardi.

United’s made the striker their record signing last month, and since his arrival, the goals have been flying in for Marcelo Bielsa’s side with the Whites finding the net seven times in their opening two games.

However, Rodrigo hasn’t played a part in any of them, with no goals or assists to his name so far, and while the Spaniard has been faltering, United’s other striking option has flourished.

Plenty of questions were asked about Patrick Bamford ahead of Leeds’ return to the Premier League, and you can understand why.

He underperformed his xG by more than 18 last season, and with chances supposedly harder to come by in the top-flight, his wastefulness was highlighted as a potential problem.

However, two games into the season he’s been United’s brightest attacking spark, netting two goals and grabbing an assist so far, and his performance against Fulham on Saturday showed exactly what he can bring in this league.

Bamford’s goal was a result of his clever movement and link-up play, while his assist highlighted his tireless running as he sprinted down the wing towards the by-line before cutting the ball back to Helder Costa who duly applied the finish.

Rodrigo also started the game for Leeds, coming in as a late change for Pablo Hernandez after the 35-year-old picked up an injury in the warmup, and while Bamford flourished, he faltered, failing to have a single shot or play a single key pass before coming off at half-time.

So now the question before Bielsa is, which striker is his first choice? Rodrigo would seemingly be the logical answer due to his pricetag and international pedigree, but with Bamford making the step-up to the Premier League so brilliantly and fittin the system perfectly, the manager’s dilemma is that much tougher to solve.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the Argentine handles his record-signing and his in-form striker. This could be Bielsa’s biggest selection headache since coming to Yorkshire.

وأردف “لذا فإن فرصة العمل مع ميسي لم تتحقق أبدًا، كان دائمًا في برشلونة [قبل الانضمام إلى باريس سان جيرمان]، لقد كنت في أتلتيكو مدريد ولم نكن معًا كلاعبين في المنتخب الأرجنتيني”.

واستطرد الأرجنتيني: “إذا سألتني أين يجب أن يلعب ميسي، سأقول في الفريق الذي يريد الفوز، في فريق يعرف ما يجب عليه فعله لتحقيق الفوز، لا يهم المركز الذي يلعبه، ما يهم هو أن الفريق جاهز للفوز، لا تفكر فيه، فكر في الفريق”.
