شهدت مباراة ليفربول وولفرهامبتون الجارية حاليًا في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز إصابة حارس المرمى روي باتريسيو.

وتُقام المباراة في الوقت الحالي في الجولة الثامنة والعشرين من البطولة، في ملعب مولينيو.

وتعرض حارس ولفرهامبتون باتريسيو لإصابة قوية للغاية في رأسه، بعد تدخل خطأ من زميله كونور كودي عليه بركبته.

وسقط باتريسيو على أرض الملعب في حالة إغماء، حيث حاول الطاقم الطبي علاجه.

Real Madrid have a pretty rough trip away from home this weekend.

After an equally difficult mid-week game against PSG, that saw Los Blancos beaten 3-0, Zinedine Zidane’s troops will be heading to Sevilla.

The key to getting back to winning ways, then, might rest on James Rodriguez’s shoulders.

Real haven’t registered a win in Andalusia since the 2014/15 season and have lost in each of the last four league visits to Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

But despite their most recent defeat in the French capital, Los Blancos still have a lot to fight for. After all, this is just the beginning of the season and the footballing year is nothing if not long.

And looking ahead at Sunday’s game, Rodriguez just might be key in overcoming Sevilla’s own midfield general – Ever Banega.

The midfield battle

On Sunday night we will see a battle in the heart of the midfield as Real Madrid’s Colombian takes on Sevilla’s Argentine veteran.

Banega is one of the key pieces of Sevilla’s arsenal and outshining him will be crucial for Los Blancos.

Of course, the ideal solution would be to shut him down completely but Real have yet to keep a clean sheet this season; they might simply have to outscore their opposition.

And Rodriguez has the ability to make a difference. So far, in his two La Liga outings, he has registered one assist, 3.5 shots, and 3.5 key passes per game. By all standards, absolutely wonderful figures for the Colombian.

But Banega is not really far behind either. Even though he has played a game more than Rodriguez, he has still tallied one assist, 1.7 shots, 2.3 key passes and also two dribbles per game.

The Argentine is also the more accurate passer of the ball between the two with 71.3 passes per game and 86.9% accuracy while the Colombian recorded 52.5 passes per game with 83.8% accuracy.

Just by looking at those numbers, the clash between the two sounds rather exciting and it’s fair to assume that whoever manages to establish dominance just might give his team a big advantage on the night.

If Real are to come out will all three points, they need James to win this battle.

وأضاف فينيسيوس الذي رواغ ثلاثة لاعبين من مدافعي أتالانتا ووصل المنطقة الجزاء، وسدد الكرة بعيدًا عن المرمى: “أنا دائمًا أحاول، إنه أفضل شيء أفعله، فأنا أفشل ثم أعود مرة أخرى”.

وواصل: “أعمل كثيرًا كل يوم، أتطور بشكل جيد، والأمور ستُصبح أفضل في كل مباراة”.

وأتم تصريحاته بالحديث عن ما قاله له سيرجيو راموس وزين الدين زيدان بعد استبداله في الدقيقة 69: “أخبروني أنني لعبت بشكل جيد للغاية، وأنني قدمت كل ما لديّ، أنا سعيد بذلك، والآن يتعين عليّ مواصلة العمل من أجل مساعدة ريال مدريد”.

Neither Lucas Torreira nor Joe Willock were included from the beginning against the Villans, which may mean that Emery plans to play them against the Championship side. Further forward, Reiss Nelson should get a start after being left on the bench for four of the last five games, whilst Mesut Ozil may feature after being dropped last weekend.

On the right, Emile Smith Rowe should have a chance to prove himself while up front, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will surely be rested. He has so far played every single minute of every single game in the absence of another natural forward due to Alexander Lacazette’s injury.

With those three points, Juventus are continuing their good run – they have yet to lose domestically this season – and are now just behind Inter in the league table, to the delight of fans.

And despite not being on the scoresheet, Paulo Dybala was one of the stars who was showered with praise after the game.

The 25-year-old forward provided an assist in the game and many Juve fans were clearly impressed with his overall performance.

Some even called for him to start ahead of former Chelsea forward Gonzalo Higuain, with Juve set to play SPAL before a Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

The story involving Zinedine Zidane and Gareth Bale at Real Madrid is an interesting one.

Of course, the Welshman was already all packed and ready to depart the Spanish capital last summer and head to what seemed like the greener pastures of China.

But something happened to swiftly change the narrative and Bale not only ended up staying at the Santiago Bernabeu but he also became their key man in attack.

And sure, you might expect that from a player who once cost them £85.3m, but we all know how that relationship has quickly deteriorated.

Zidane himself was pretty vocal in public about the whole situation, proclaiming that Bale’s departure would be welcomed and should be done swiftly. Of course, the Frenchman then changed his tune once the transfer window was all but closed and the chances of the player’s departure turned to naught.

Of course, he suddenly described Bale as one of the important members of his squad.

And with two goals and one assist already to his name in the ongoing 2019/20 La Liga season, Bale has become just that – important.

But even with his palpable contribution to the team, the 30-year-old forward was left on the bench on matchday six and then completely left out of the squad for Real Madrid’s second group stage clash in the Champions League against Club Brugge.

Seeing how Los Blancos completely bottled their European opener, suffering a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, leaving out a key forward in the next encounter is a really weird decision, especially when you consider the 2-2 draw against the Belgian side.

It’s also a decision that brings up many questions and demons of the past.

Is Zidane doing this out of spite or is there more to these recent omissions? There must be something because leaving out a player in form in big clashes is counterproductive and suggests there might be some kind of a problem going on behind the scenes in this love-hate relationship.

Of course, with Bale’s well-known injury history, it’s quite possible Zidane is playing his cards rather close to his chest but one would not expect Real to rotate heavily in Europe, particularly in a game that almost left them with egg on their face.

It increasingly looks like a mistake.

A criticism long been levelled at modern footballers, poor performances and results are never the fault of the players on the pitch, and always something outside of their control. Fabio Capello essentially nailed it on the head, when he suggested England’s sorry displays at international tournaments were borne out of an ‘excuse culture’.

ريال مدريد يرغب بقوة في ضم ألابا، ولكن النادي الملكي لديه مُنافسة من أندية أوروبية أخرى، على رأسها برشلونة وتشيلسي ومانشستر يونايتد.

وحسب صحيفة “آس”، فإن ريال مدريد لديه قائمة تضمن أسماء 4 مدافعين، سيحاول التعاقد مع أحدهم، حال فشل في التوصل إلى اتفاق مع وكيل ألابا.

1- جول كوندي (إشبيلية).

الدولي الفرنسي، هو أحد أبرز المُرشحين لـ ريال مدريد، وهُناك إعجاب كبير من قبل المسؤولين بالنادي الملكي ويريدون ضمه.

ولكن هُناك عقبة قد تقف أمام ريال مدريد، حال قرر النادي التعاقد مع كوندي، ليس اهتمام ليفربول الإنجليزي فقط بضمه، بل قيمة الشرط الجزائي في عقده والتي تبلغ 80 مليون يورو.

2- باو توريس (فياريال).

الدولي الإسباني، شريك سيرجيو راموس، في منتخب إسبانيا، وصاحب الـ”24″ عامًا، مستواه مع فياريال مؤخرًا كان جيدًا، لذا جذب اهتمام مسؤولي ريال مدريد.

باو توريس، يتواجد كذلك على رادار ليفربول ومانشستر يونايتد، ويوجد في عقده شرط جزائي عقده 65 مليون يورو، وفي ريال مدريد، يرى النادي أنهم قادرون على التفاوض مع الملكي على مبلغ أقل في ظل العلاقة الجيدة بين الناديين.

3- كاليدو كوليبالي (نابولي)

المدافع السنغالي على رادار ريال مدريد مُنذ سنوات، ولكن المطالب المالية الكبيرة من جانب إدارة نابولي، وقفت أمام أحلام النادي الملكي.

نابولي طلب 100 مليون يورو، من أجل الموافقة على بيع كوليبالي، ولكن النادي الإيطالي خفض مطالبه للنصف، وسوف يبيعه مقابل 50 مليون يورو.

4- خيسوس فاييخو (غرناطة)

فاييخو مُعار من ريال مدريد، لنادي غرناطة الإسباني، حتى 30 يونيو 2021، والنادي الملكي حال فشل التعاقد مع أي من الأسماء المذكورة سلفًا سيتجه لقطع إعارة فاييخو وإعادته مرة أخرى.

ريال مدريد لا يزال يثق في فاييخو، رغم الأداء السيء الذي ظهر يه خلال موسم 2018/2019، بعد أدائه الجيد مع غرناطة هذا الموسم، حيث شارك في 31 مُباراة بمُختلف المسابقات.
