Andreas Pereira has had a pretty mixed career at Manchester United.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been one of the Red Devils throughout pretty much the entirety of his career as he played for their U18 squad and then advanced through the ranks to finally reach the senior team in 2015.

But not everything was as rosy as it may sound at first.

He spent a lot of time away from Old Trafford, jumping from loan to loan and, for the most part, never being able to settle completely.

And now he has taken to

He called it a very special day and shared a snap in which he can be seen in Wayne Rooney’s embrace. That was followed by the footage itself.

Since his debut for the senior team, Pereira has played a total of 37 games for the Red Devils, scoring two goals and assisting further two in the process.

Real Madrid just can’t seem to catch a break this summer.

As if the end of the 2018/19 season, which was poor to say the least, and the abysmal 2019 pre-season wasn’t enough of a punishment for the fans and their patience, now they seem to be on another bad luck streak.

Los Blancos already have five people sidelined by various different injuries, including their new Galactico signing, Eden Hazard.

And now, their day just got a lot worse once again as a sixth player joined the fold.

Real Madrid have now officially confirmed that Isco also suffered an injury, meaning he will seemingly be out of action for the time being.

It’s safe to say that their fans have not really taken kindly to another injury report and another star player being sidelined at the beginning of the new 2019/20 La Liga season.

وقال رايت في تصريحات لشبكة “BBC” البريطانية: “لم أفهم ماذا فعل النني أمام تيليمانس، لقد مر تيلي وظل يركض نحو المرمى، ولم يتحرك النني من مكانه”.

He is using this period to ramp up his fitness so he can cement his name amongst Slaven Bilic’s starting XI.

The 30-year-old didn’t have much of a pre-season after his former Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl practically froze him out of the squad entirely by not naming him for their tours of Austria and Ireland.

Austin put up this tweet on Monday, which has left several supporters at the Hawthorns touting him for big things this season.

One member of the Baggies faithful joked that he would get the beers in at Cheltenham festival if the striker scores 15 goals by then.

Whilst another added that he would be the key to this season and that it was great to see his commitment to the club.

The formidable forward has a more than respectable goal tally in this league alone, scoring 68 times in 134 appearances for both QPR and Burnley, per Transfermarkt.

A further West Brom supporter spoke on behalf of the entire fanbase to say that everyone was rooting for him. Austin has struggled this term and is yet to score a league goal.

Lots of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Kieran Trippier’s comments on Diego Simeone, following England’s 4-0 win over Bulgaria at Wembley on Saturday.

The Atletico Madrid right-back, who left Spurs in a deal worth around £20m this summer, was quizzed on what life under Simeone is like in the Spanish capital, with Trippier saying: “He’s incredible to work with, totally different to any other coach I’ve had.”

Now, it seems as if a couple of Spurs fans on Twitter have taken his comments as a subtle dig at Mauricio Pochettino, with one supporter asking: “How much more insulting to Poch can you get?”

Another stated that Trippier appears to want to blame Pochettino for his poor form last year.

Whether or not Trippier meant to aim a dig at his former boss is a mystery, but his words have certainly sparked a discussion on Twitter.

This year, the 20-year-old has forced his way into manager Unai Emery’s plans, having already featured in three of the first four Premier League matches of the campaign.

As such, he has been rewarded with a new deal by the Gunners.

While the length has not been revealed, it has been confirmed that it is long-term in nature.

Another example of Arsenal’s young policy

It is an exciting time at Arsenal, especially for the club’s younger players. Willock putting pen to paper for the foreseeable future is just the latest example of this phenomenon.

Looking at the signings that were made during the summer transfer window, it is obvious that Emery and co have the future of the club in mind. Of the six new arrivals, only David Luiz is over 32. Even including the former Chelsea man, the signings had an average age of 22.66 at the time of joining.

The squad as a whole has a fresh and youthful look. There are just four players who are over 30 and Willock is not the only academy graduate to have received considerable playing time this term. Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, 19 and 22 respectively, have both started games. Also, Matteo Guendouzi, while not a former member of the club’s youth sides, is just 20 yet has been in the starting XI for every game this term.

It is also interesting to analyse the age of those who have departed the Emirates outfit recently. Alex Iwobi, at 23, was by far the youngest member of last term’s first-team squad to seek pastures new. The average age of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Danny Welbeck, Aaron Ramsey and Mohamed Elneny is 30.7.

As such, it is obvious that the north London side’s hierarchy are prioritising a youthful approach. If Emery and his players are given time to grow into their roles, it could be a promising time ahead for Arsenal.
