West Ham United fans will be disappointed with today’s result as their side were denied all three points by a late Harvey Barnes strike at the London Stadium.

The Hammers showed fight and spirit today but yet again they weren’t able to secure the right result, which has been a real problem for them in recent times as they’ve failed to win in their last four top-flight games.

Indeed, one of the major problems for the Hammers this season has been at the pinnacle of the attack as they’ve not been able to find a consistent goal source, with the likes of Javier Hernandez, Michail Antonio, Lucas Perez and Andy Carroll failing to lead the line with any intent.

Although, Manuel Pellegrini may not need to look far to find a possible candidate to lead the line next season, as one of the players in the Under-23 side has impressed this season.

Xande Silva made a name for himself in the Under-23 ranks during the first half of the season as he produced seven goals in six Premier League 2 games. His fine form resulted in him joining up with the first-team in the Premier League and he made one top-flight appearances, as well as an FA Cup appearance.

It comes as some surprise that the Argentine hasn’t looked to use him more as he could offer a different dynamic at the pinnacle of the attack, and he’s shown he can be prolific this season. He looks to use his pace and strength to work himself into promising positions and then he has the ability to punish the opposition. Also, not many sides will have seen what the 22-year-old can do on the field, so using him next season could work wonders for the Hammers.

It has been a year to forget for Samuel Saiz, hasn’t it?

After enjoying a superb 2017/18 campaign for Leeds United, it is fair to say that the midfielder’s fortunes have spiralled since Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival last summer

Despite starting the first 14 games of the season for the Whites, a number of under-par performances by Saiz soon saw the likes of Stuart Dallas and Jack Harrison over-take him in the pecking order at Elland Road. With Bielsa unwilling to give the 28-year-old another opportunity to prove himself, a loan move to Getafe was agreed in the January transfer window.

Although a return to Spain following two years in West Yorkshire would have excited Saiz, the fact that he has failed to make any sort of an impact in La Liga must be extremely worrying. In seven appearances for the Azulones, the former Huesca ace hasn’t registered a goal or an assist and looks completely devoid of the confidence which saw him find the back of the net on 10 occasions last season (via Transfermarkt).

Therefore, regardless of what division the Whites find themselves in next year, it is imperative that they bring an end to Saiz’s involvement with the club. According to Football Insider, Leeds are looking to sell him on for double the amount that they bought him for in 2017 (£3m).

If chairman Andrea Radrizzani can indeed convince a potential suitor pay £6m for Saiz, it would be a masterstroke when you consider just how poor the Spaniard has been this year for both the Whites and Getafe.

With Bielsa looking to bolster his squad in the summer, any money earned from the midfielder’s sale could be highly beneficial as it would allow the 58-year-old to target a quality replacement for the misfiring ace.

وواصل: “سأتعلم من ذلك، أنا لست الأفضل دفاعيًا في منطقة الجزاء، يمكنني العمل على ذلك”.

Eric Dier has proved in the last few months that he’s simply not good enough to lead Spurs’ midfield to silverware. As a result, Daniel Levy should cash in on him in the summer and spend the money on a replacement.

The 25-year-old was dubbed the ‘new John Terry’ when Spurs signed him from Sporting Lisbon in 2014. The transfer cost £5m, according to Transfermarkt, so they’ve got their money’s worth out of him, but now it’s time for the club to move forward.

His performance against West Ham on Saturday was embarrassing, but Football Insider are claiming Manchester United are plotting a summer move for the Englishman. That should be music to Daniel Levy’s ears, and he should bite their hand off when they approach him.

He’s rated at £40m on Transfermarkt, so Mauricio Pochettino could bring in a really high fee considering he’s pretty expendable. That’ll mean the money can be spent on bringing in a younger, more energetic player, perhaps from abroad to keep the price down.

It’d be annoying to see one of their stars going to a fierce rival, but if they’re willing to sell him then he shouldn’t really make much of a difference when it comes to winning trophies. Man United seem way off winning anything anyway, so they might not even be considered a rival!

What a glorious thought for Spurs fans, right?

Dier has made 18 appearances for Spurs this season, so he’s not been one of their key men. Harry Winks and certainly Moussa Sissoko (yes, really) are the players Spurs should be keeping for next season at least. Indeed, a new first choice is needed and the Dier money can fund that.

وأكمل: “هو لم يستخدم إمكاناته العالية مع المنتخب ومع فريقه، وبعد ما قلت تصريحاتي عن مصطفى محمد أصبح أفضل وكانت تصريحات إيجابية”.

وأختتم: “أنا مقتنع بإمكانيات وقدرات مصطفى محمد”.

جدير بالذكر أن منتخب مصر يستعد لمواجهتي توجو ذهابًا وإيابًا يومي 14، 17 نوفمبر الجاري في الجولة الثالثة والرابعة من التصفيات المؤهلة لأمم إفريقيا بالكاميرون.

It has recently been reported by The Sun that Manchester City are keen to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester, although they may have to top the world-record £75m fee spent on Virgil van Dijk by Liverpool in order to land their man with the story saying it would take £90m to convince the Foxes to sell.

The east Midlands outfit signed the England international from Hull back in 2017 for just £17m, so if the Cityzens did stump up that kind of cash for the 26-year-old, the 2016 Premier League champions would be getting a massive profit on the centre-back.

“City would be absolutely foolish to spend that much on Harry Maguire. I know the club don’t exactly have any issues when it comes to finances but considering City already have an incredible backline, spending £90m on Maguire would be ridiculous. The centre-half was fantastic at the World Cup last summer and that was probably when his stock was highest. For me, he’s been slightly underwhelming this term. He’d still get into most teams in the Premier League but not for that absurd price tag.”

“Maguire had a good World Cup but he’s absolutely not of the required ability to play for Manchester City. They pride themselves on having ball-playing defenders and Maguire is only really good at heading the ball and tackling. Pep Guardiola needs more and should be looking elsewhere, particularly if the asking price is £90m.”

“In my opinion, Manchester City should sign Harry Maguire regardless of the price tag. Money doesn’t matter too much to the Cityzens and they’ve shown in recent seasons that huge defensive investments can work out. He could thrive alongside John Stones and build a very strong all-English partnership at centre-back, with the pair knowing each other well from Gareth Southgate’s squad. The centre-back veterans at the Etihad Stadium, such as Nicolas Otamendi and Vincent Kompany, will need replacing at some stage and this would be the perfect way for City to do it.”

No matter what team you support, there’s no doubt you have been impressed with the rise of West Ham’s academy star Declan Rice.

The Irons midfielder has gone from a squad player for Manuel Pellegrini to an England international in a matter of months and has established himself as one of the brightest prospects in world football after a stellar season in the Premier League, but with all that baggage comes rumours of a move away.

Rice has been at the centre of multiple reports of a move away from West Ham, with the rumours from Scott Minto (as per the Sun) in April linking the England international to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Hammers face an uphill battle to keep hold of their prized midfielder this season, but the club can do their best to ensure Rice has the players around him to not only convince him to stay but that can help the anchor-man improve his game, and one player could do just that.

According to Spanish publication El Desmarque, Real Betis midfielder and Cardiff City loanee Victor Camarasa is a target for West Ham this summer after an impressive season with the Bluebirds despite relegation to the Championship.

With a reported release clause of £21 million, the Spanish midfielder could be a smart signing for West Ham this summer, who are in need of more creativity in the midfield with Jack Wilshere’s injuries yet again getting the best of him, and Camarasa could be perfect for Rice as well.

Signing a player of Camarasa’s quality would bring a new dynamic to West Ham due to the Spaniard’s ability to score and create chances regularly in matches, and his impact in the final third for Pellegrini’s side could be a big upgrade to what the Chilean currently has at the club.

Camarasa’s impact could also convince Rice to stay at his boyhood team longer, with a signing like that showing the teenager that the club are willing to be ambitious in the future and bring in players that fit around him.
